Air Fryer

OK, this might be one of my favorite little appliances!

We use our Air Fryer several times a week. It cooks food so much faster! It doesn’t compromise the texture or taste of the food. And, it’s HEALTHIER than cooking with grease. #YourHeartWillThankYou

I was a little skeptical that air fryers were nothing more than a big microwave because of how they work. I’ve never been a huge fan of cooking food in the microwave because it makes food taste dry and rubbery. (And, have you ever noticed that food cooked in a microwave does not stay hot and gets cold really quick?)

The air fryer cooks food evenly and tasting moist. And, the food will stay hotter longer than if you could have used a microwave.

Most of the recipes I’ve used with my air fryer, I’ve gotten from Pinterest. You can also find charts like this one to use as a guide for temperatures and cooking times.

The air fryer we have is an Emeril Lagasse Pressure Air Fryer Plus 6 quart. It was purchased at Walmart but you can also find it online here.

These little appliances are super easy to clean — just pull the insert out and put it in the dishwasher. Mine also has a small wire rack that can also go in the dishwasher.
